Well, I have two dogs. Both stand only a few inches from the ground and this photo is taken from their eye level. Their perspective.
It’s when you look from another’s perspective that the world begins to look a little different. Today, especially, it is necessary for us to be able to look at the world through each other’s lenses.
Our world, our reality is filtered through our personal experiences, education, background, value, and religion. But, what enables us to march towards progress is the ability to see the issue through another’s perspective. We cannot move forward as a united nation if we cannot see how each action affects each person our nation is committed to protecting and serving.
A nation for all is a nation that can take on another’s perspective and do what’s best for all, not for the few.
